New Resources added to the Portal
Two new documents have been added and made available as part of the EU funded Engage Learning project.
Help document for integrating Game Based Learning in the classroom
This handbook was created with the aim of helping teachers in integrating game based learning in the classroom by acting as a user guide on game based learning, its background and benefits. It contains considerations for the adoption of games for learning and examples of the use of games in an educational context. The document will be updated throughout the project to include more examples and content that is collected from input from the Engage Learning community. Download from here or visit the GBL resources page.
Catalogue of Games for Learning
This document contains 23 reviews of serious and commercial games that can be used for learning. The catalogue also includes short walkthroughs and screenshots of each game reviewed. All the reviews follow the same layout and sequence. The table of contents and the game summaries on the following pages can be used for quick references to pages of interest. The document will be updated throughout the project to include more examples and content that is collected from input from the Engage Learning community. Download from here or visit the GBL resources page.
