Images for GBL - what speaks to you?

Postby Paul Pivec » Fri Jul 17, 2009 11:17 am

In terms of the images for the leaflet, I think it could work to show a combination of examples of popular & well recognised game characters as well as images of people playing games in classrooms. As Nick pointed out though, it is difficult to guess what kind of game characters are appropriate for the teachers! - Maria

When you think of games or GBL, what characters do you think of? Or another way to ask this would be when you see a character, does it say games?

My favorites would be the retro games:

Or not strictly retro, but epitomizes games...

I am also a fan of the retro graphics, especially space invaders.
They can also be easily created and mostly avoid copyright issues.
